Meet Skycoin Joe

Wyatt's ego is bigger than that skyscraper
Hi Skycoin family! Tommy Stiles here to post another update on my Skycoin life. Last time I told you about my friend Wyatt who was depressed because he refused to listen to my advice about buying Skycoin when it was $1 and completely missed his opportunity to become a Skycoin millionaire. I called him afterwards to see if I could convince him to invest in Skycoin while the sale is still going on. Sad to say, I couldn't get him to listen. Sometimes it can be hard dealing with a narcissist. Whoops, I wasn't supposed to call him that; let's just call him an egocentric. I'm not being mean, he's a self-admitted egocentric. Unfortunately, he thinks it's a good thing... because he's an egocentric.

I told him, "Wyatt, this is your second chance man. Skycoin is at $15 right now. It won't be for long though. You missed it when it was $1. Don't miss it this time." Of course, I told him this after 20 minutes of stroking his ego by praising his pretentious anecdotes and smothering him with compliments. I was laying it on pretty thick, but it didn't take. He still wouldn't listen. He came up with the same old excuses: "It's too late" "It can't compete with XYZ" "Blah blah blah." I'm sure you've heard them all before too. The lame excuses people come up with to not invest in Skycoin. The sad thing is that it is really self-sabotage, but like they say: "You are your own worst enemy." Well, you and your mother-in-law (Just kidding! I love you Patty!)

Will someone please give this man a social security check and a recliner!?
But I don't want this blog post to be sad and depressing (I'll leave that for Wyatt). Instead, I want this to be an uplifting reminder that when someone takes advantage of an opportunity, life be can be wonderful. So let me tell you about one of my friends that DID listen: Joe. Joe is a friend of mine that used to work with me at Lowe's. He actually quit before I did, but it wasn't because of Skycoin. Joe is in his late forties and after working at Lowe's for almost 20 years, he felt that the company wasn't promoting him fast enough and that the pay wasn't keeping up with his worth. He took a job offer as a salesman at a kitchen remodeling company that paid almost twice as much. I kept in touch with Joe after he quit Lowe's and it sounded like things were going really good for him, at first. However, after a few months, sales slowed down and he discovered he could not keep up with his colleagues. Unfortunately, he was let go by that company.

He went on unemployment benefits while he looked for another job but he didn't have many skills or much experience, other than working at hardware stores. That was right around the times I was researching Skycoin. I knew that his father was a retired financial advisor, so I figured I would run it past Joe and maybe he could run it past his dad. At this time, Skycoin was at $1 and was not on the cryptocurrency radar, but I had done enough research to know that it was ready to take off. I spent many late nights reading cryptocurrency books, blogs, and websites while drinking coffee and listening to some Snoop Dog and Biggie Smalls. There's something about those two that inspire me to get rich, buy a mansion, smoke and drink. I would recommend only doing the first two things; perhaps listening to the censored versions of their music would help.

I told Joe everything I had discovered about Skycoin and why I thought it was going to surge in price. He called me back a couple hours later and told me "Tommy, my dad loves it! As a matter of fact, he's investing in it right now." On top of it, Joe's dad gave him a loan so that he could invest in Skycoin too. Unlike Wyatt, Joe is a good listener. He doesn't come to the table with any preconceived assumptions or unnecessary skepticism. Plus, he is very smart and has been around the block a few times. It also helped that he was on unemployment and had been recently laid off: I suppose necessity is the mother of financial genius. Several months later, Skycoin shot up to $50 and both Joe and I sold half of our investment portfolio.

That's right folks, just like me, Joe is now a Skycoin millionaire. The difference between me and Joe, however, is that he is not concerned about bringing people into Skycoin. As I said, he comes from a family of financial advisors where advice like this costs a lot of money. I, on the other hand, do not need any financial compensation. I do this because I love living the Skycoin life. And I hate to see people in desperation and hard times when they don't need to be. Maybe it's because I'm still young and I still have the hope that people will listen to good advice and better themselves. I've noticed that Joe does not have that same faith in people. To be honest, I've seen people have more faith in Windows Vista, and Bill Gates knows that ain't much!

Last time I talked to Joe, I asked, "Have you gotten anyone to invest in Skycoin." He responded, "Tommy when you get to my age, you just have to enjoy life. You can't go around wasting time trying to convince people on the right way to do things. Even if you are a living proof of it, they still never listen." I wasn't going to argue with him, especially since we were trying to relax in his hot tub. Yup, he had to get a hot tub too, and it had to be bigger than mine of course! He is single, so maybe he needs more room. I wouldn't be surprised if he is hosting his own version of "The Bachelor" at his house every night. Nevertheless, I'm here to tell you that I don't agree with his theory... at least not yet. I still have faith in people and I think people will listen to good advice if they are in the right mindset.

Obviously, Wyatt wasn't in that mindset, and my friend Crazy Pete, his mindset isn't even from this planet. But look at my friends Andrew, Seth and Connor, and my mom and dad. I convinced them all to invest in Skycoin because they have a mindset that understands opportunity. They know that some opportunities only come once in a lifetime, and sometimes it comes from the advice of a good friend, a son, or a blog writer. You have to take an opportunity when it comes. Now is the time! It's simple: open a Coinbase account, buy as much BTC with your credit card as you can (it's instant). Transfer your BTC to your Cryptopia account and convert your BTC into Skycoin. Simple! But you have to do it while it's sale! It's only $15 right now, but it won't last! Until next time, take care Skycoin family!
