Getting ready to road trip, Skycoin style!

Welcome back to My Adventures in Skycoin! For those of you that are new to my blog, my name is Tommy Stiles and Skycoin is the investment opportunity that allowed me to be my own boss and enjoy a life of leisure. I became a Skycoin millionaire within a matter of months of my initial investment and continue to watch my bank account grow as Skycoin goes up in price. Skycoin allowed me to quit my job and be financially independent. Most importantly, I have tons of free time. I have time to do whatever I want, to entertain whatever spontaneous notion comes to mind, and to fulfill my lifelong dreams. For instance, last night I saw an RV commercial before going to bed and I decided, “It’s time to get an RV.”  I have always loved going on road trips and have always dreamed of one day owning an RV.
I hope we're not there yet...
The first road trip I took was with my parents and my older brother to the Grand Canyon. The Grand Canyon is a beautiful marvel of nature that I greatly enjoyed, but I have to admit that the best part was the ride there. There’s nothing better than pigging out on gas station junk food while staring out the windows at new and foreign landscapes. That love of road tripping has stayed with me from that very first family trip until today. That’s why today was “RV shopping day.” I took my friend Andrew with me up to Camping World in Longmont, which has hundreds of RVs on a lot that is 15 acres big (that’s 15 football fields). You know how when you shop for a new car you take your mechanic friend with you? Well, Andrew is my outdoor/camping friend. In return for his help, I am taking him with me on my next road trip, all expenses paid. Destination: California.
Top down, sky open
I absolutely love California! Before Skycoin, I only made it there once, when my savings account and vacation days had accumulated enough and coincided just right. It was a coach ticket from the cheapest airline on a red-eye flight. I had to go with friends, not because I needed some company, but because that was the only way to afford a rental car and a hotel room. Now I can go whenever I want with whoever I want. I’ve done it several times already; first class tickets and luxury downtown San Francisco hotel rooms of course. Last time I went with my girlfriend. In the morning we hit up Mammoth Mountain for some snowboarding, in the afternoon we visited Fisherman’s Wharf for awesome seafood, and at night we cruised through the desert with the top down in the Mercedes-Benz SLK, stargazing at the most clear, shimmering, and beautiful night sky. A couple years ago I promised my girlfriend that we would do that before we turned 80. Thanks to Skycoin, I was able to follow through with the promise, 55 years sooner than I expected.
The next time I go to Cali, there is going to be less stargazing and more bro time since Andrew and a couple other buddies will be tagging along in the RV. As we headed to Camping World,  Andrew asked me a few questions to assess what I was looking for in an RV. Now you might think I would say “I need a kitchen” or “I need large screen TV in the bedroom.” Nope. “Tommy, what is the most important thing you need in an RV” he asked me with the Notepad app opened up on his phone. “A really nice crapper” I answered him. Let’s be honest, what’s the one thing that ruins all road trips? I remember what ruined my Spring Break road trip to Corpus Christi during my senior year of high school. It wasn’t the $3.49 plate of Grande Jalapeño Nacho’s, per se. It was the change of pants and underwear I needed to do in the rest stop bathroom after 45 minutes of doing a wall sit over the passenger side seat.
I knew there was reason we did these in gym class
We pulled into the dealership and as we walked towards the service area we were greeted by Tom. “I like your name” I greeted back. My whole life I had driven past places like these: lots filled with beautiful shiny RVs painted with names like Road Warrior or Sky Catcher. They gave me the dream of being able to travel in a mobile hotel room, and more importantly, a mobile bathroom. Before Skycoin, they were only a dream, something I might be able to afford when I was too old and too worn out to appreciate it. However, through a little bit of investigation, I was able to make that dream come true. I discovered Skycoin, a cryptocurrency that is more valuable than Bitcoin, but is extremely undervalued and has not yet been discovered by the public.
I explained to Tom that I was looking for an RV that could handle four bachelors and their shenanigans all the way to San Francisco and back. When I told him, “I can afford any RV here, so just show me the best,” his eyes lit up. There was no sob story about how I’m living paycheck to paycheck and that I couldn’t afford much. We hopped in the golf cart, and Tom drove us over to the Class A RVs (largest RVs) with his pedal to the metal. I’ve always wanted a Winnebago, so as soon as I saw the humongous Winnebago Sunstar LX, I yelled for him to stop so we could took a look. There was a shower in the bathroom. That meant I could eat all the Grande Jalapeño Nachos I wanted to on the way to California. “I’ll take it” I blurted out before Tom could give me any sort of sales pitch or Andrew could start listing off the RVs pros and cons. So now I am Tommy Stiles, Skycoin millionaire, and RV owner. My Adventures in Skycoin is now going cross-country. First California, then who know where? With Skycoin, the sky is the limit!
