Hitting the slopes with Skycoin: Going up up up!

Hello Skycoin fans! Yesterday, my long time friend and fellow snowboarder, Andrew, informed me that the slopes were going to get slammed with snow. Having lived most of his life in the Rocky Mountains, he was usually right about such forecasts, so I decided that Tuesday was going to be “snowboard day”.  I woke up early (7 A.M.) to check the snow report, and sure enough, he was right. Which reminds me, I seriously need to update the song on my phone’s alarm clock. Dolly Parton’s 1980s country classic “9 to 5” just doesn’t get the blood flowing like it used to, and frankly its a disturbing reminder of my pre-Skycoin life.
I’m thinking “Ima Boss” by Rick Ross would be more suitable to the Skycoin life. Let’s face it: it’s hard not to feel like a boss when I can just randomly decide that today or tomorrow is going to be “snowboard day.” I don’t have to worry about calling in sick or begging someone to cover my shift. It’s hard not to feel like a boss when I can check my investment portfolio while riding a ski lift over Vail Ski Resort. I pull out my phone (Blue and White Apple iPhone X), log into Cryptopia and within a minute I can see the value of my investments. “Ah, the life of a financially independent snowboarder” I think to myself.
Why I get hungry when I snowboard
I see that Skycoin is still hovering around the $15 mark. That means the Skycoin sale is still going on and it’s time to buy more Skycoin. I put an order in to buy 1000 Skycoin, put my phone back in my pocket, sit back and enjoy the splendid scenery of the snow covered mountains. For some reason they remind me of the delicious sugar powdered Pfeffernuesse cookies my Grandma used to make for us during our holiday visits. Maybe someday soon I’ll take a nice little trip to Germany, hit the Alps and pick up some up authentic Pfefferneusse to take back home.
I make it to the top, glide off the ski lift and my friend Andrew is waiting for me. After a brief discussion on whether or not I will like my new board, we cruise down the slopes and I think to myself “I love the new board.” We reach the bottom and I check my phone: trades completed. I just added 1000 more Skycoin to my investment portfolio. I can only imagine how awesome it will feel when I sell some of those Skycoin back at the $100 mark. Fortunately, Cryptopia makes buying and selling Skycoin so easy, that I will literally spend more time figuring out how to change the song for my phone’s alarm clock than it took to trade 1000 Skycoins.
Of course you have to have some Bitcoin in order to buy the Skycoin on Cryptopia, but that is super easy. Remember Brad, the friend that became a millionaire from Bitcoin? His vlogs recommended using Coinbase to buy the Bitcoin (BTC) and I would have to agree. You can sign up and buy BTC within minutes after doing a few verifications and inputting your bank account or credit card information. Honestly, it’s pretty simple:  just buy BTC with Coinbase, then transfer the BTC to Cryptopia. In Cryptopia, you put an order in to buy Skycoin using your BTC balance. Just be sure to use all your BTC, because Skycoin is what is going to make you rich, not the BTC.
Who cares about snow? Skycoin makes it rain!
I’ve heard from the cryptocurrency community that Skycoin developers are currently developing an even easier way to buy Skycoin. The link is going to be on their website under the tab “Buy Skycoin.” Until then, I’m using Coinbase and Cryptopia to increase my Skycoin wealth. It’s so easy, I taught my mom how to do it in 5 minutes and she refuses to get a phone that doesn’t fold up like a clamshell. As a matter of fact I was able to show Andrew how to buy Skycoin all within the span of a ski lift back to the top. In addition to that, I showed him the Skycoin price graph: “I bought here” pointing at the $1 marker, “it made it here” pointing at the $50 marker, “and it’s eventually going to surpass this” pointing at BTC $8000 price marker. Needless to say Andrew is watching the sky for more than just snow now. As they say “With Skycoin, money truly falls from the sky.”
